Kinuso School is nestled in the Hamlet of Kinuso and is located 48 kilometres west of Slave Lake on the southern shores of Lesser Slave Lake. The region is home to a varied and diverse population with rich cultures and backgrounds.
The school serves students from kindergarten to Grade 12 and is located just south of the lake. The recently remodelled school is operated by a group of qualified and dedicated staff who provide quality education in a safe and caring environment. The school offers diverse programming in the arts, education, and extracurricular activities. National archery championships, poetry competitions, Cree and French language programs, and dual credit courses highlight just a few of the successes that have been achieved by the students and staff at Kinuso School.
